Saint-Anne is a small township situated at the extreme south of Martinique. Saint Lucia, belonging to her Gracious Majesty is not very far away, and the English tried to invade Martinique repeatedly while disembarking on this beach.
In vain. Afterwards, during World War II, Saint Lucia welcomed the Martinicans who escaped the government of Vichy, personalized in Martinique by admiral Robert.
