Habitation Céron : ruins of the sugar-cane mill

Habitation Céron gives the visitors the possibility to discover the remains of a sugar-producing exploitation dating back to the 17th century. Here is the mill that served to grind the sugar cane to extract the juice or vesou. The grinding residuum, the bagasse, once dried, replaced the charcoal in the furnaces.
