Race of yawls in the bay of Le François

Originally practiced by fishers for the fun, races of yawls became a real institution, every team being sponsored by big marks. The Tour of Martinique in round yawls (Tour de Martinique en yoles rondes), that takes place every year in August during one week, attracts thousands of spectators.
