Traveler's tree in the park of Habitation Clément

The traveler's tree (ravenala) is native to Madagascar. Of the family of the banana tree, it can reach 30 meters of height. Its fan shaped foliage has the particularity to keep the rainwater made thus at the disposal of the travelers who can quench their thirst.

The visitors of the Habitation Clement will probably prefer a dram of rum.
